Propaganda: The Power of Lies
Through May 25, 2008
This temporary exhibit demonstrates how propaganda has been used for good and for evil. By displaying primarily war-era posters and the continuous playing of Triumph of the Will (the famous propaganda film commissioned by Hitler of Leni Riefenstahl), the exhibit explains several common techniques, challenging the viewer to think critically about how information is delivered and whether we are often taken in by messages solely by how they are delivered.
