Doris Sandoval

Doris SandovalDoris Sandoval earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (1994) and an Master of Science in Environmental Engineering (1998) from New Mexico State University. In Grand Junction, Colorado she oversaw work on the Department of Energy's (DOE) Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action Groundwater Project initiatives and served as a site engineer for the construction of a uranium mill-tailing repository cell. While participating in the DOE Co-op program there, Doris completed her master's thesis. Ms. Sandoval is currently a project manager for the Department of Energy at the Albuquerque Operation Office. She participates as a speaker with the NM MESA program, tutors students and judges math and science competitions.
