Hispanics in Science and Engineering

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:Hispanics in Science and Engineering 2001 exhibition
The National Atomic Museum Foundation, in partnership with Lockheed Martin and Sandia National Laboratories' Hispanic Leadership and Outreach Committee celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with the annual traveling exhibit "Hispanics in Science and Engineering." The exhibit recognizes the contributions made by Hispanics in science and engineering, provides role models to students, and recognizes the diversity within the Hispanic Community.

The exhibit honors 13 of the best and brightest Hispanic scientists and engineers across the nation as selected by professional Hispanic organizations. It also recognizes Hispanic graduate students who have excelled in their study of science or engineering.

The honorees in the exhibit, and their sponsoring organizations are:

"Hispanics in Science and Engineering" exhibition consists of 13, 25"x40" framed color photographs, and one framed introduction text panel. All other text is provided within each framed photograph.

Rental Fee: $1,000 per month
Footage Requirement: 500 square feet
Security Level: Moderate
